Basic Commission Guidelines

Payment Guidelines

1. After the client and artist discuss and confirm the commissioned project, the client must complete payment within 1-3 days.

2. Overseas clients can use Gank/PayPal/Vgen for payment.

3. Local (Malaysia) clients can use Touch 'n GO/Gank/Bank Transfer.

4. For commissions involving larger amounts (exceeding MYR1000 / NTD7600 / USD250) A 50% deposit or full payment upfront is acceptable.

5. If a deposit is required, the balance is due before delivery of the completed artwork.

6. Artist will not begin creation until payment is received.

Revision Policy

1. Multiple revisions are possible throughout the process. However, for significant changes (such as redesigning on huge composition),Artist will charge an additional fee, which will be confirmed with the client beforehand.

Delivery Time

1. Delivery time varies depending on the project and will be adjusted according to the schedule and complexity of the artwork.

2. If there is some delay during the commissions,Artist will proactively notify the client and explain the reason.

Purpose of Artwork

• The client must inform the intended use of the commission (non-commercial or commercial) before the commission begins. The price and licensing method will vary depending on the intended use.

• Personal or Monetized content- Personal collection, gifts, live stream cover display, etc.

• Rush Requests - Specific and time-sensitive requests (Price x 1.5)

• Commercial merchandising  - Any form of merchandise sales, profit-making activities, or tangible revenue (Price x2)

• Full Rights Buyout - The client owns all rights to the commission. Cathyuiii 小石頭 may display the artwork after public release by the Client.(Price x 3)

• Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) - The client owns all rights to the commission on any form of merchandise sales, profit-making activities etc. Artist may not use or display the artwork in any way.(Price x 4)

Work Display Rights

1. Artist retains the right to use the artwork for portfolio purposes, including publishing on social media platforms and for display.

2. If the client wishes to postpone publication, they can contact Artist, who will accommodate their request.

Acceptance Rights

1. The Artist reserves the right to refuse commissions based on personal factors, technical capabilities, or ethical considerations.

Refund Policy

1. Unless Artist actively requests it or due to force majeure preventing the completion of the commission, no refunds will be provided after the work has begun.

2. If the client is unable to pay the full amount due to force majeure during the commission process, Artist may refund 30% of the amount and cancel the commission.

3. If the client does not respond within 3 days during the commission process, the artist may cancel or refuse the commission, and will only refund 20% of the amount.
